New Delhi: The Israeli Embassy in India has removed the claim of viral claim on Wednesday. It was said that Israel issued a letter to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, during a military exercise in Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian Army officer has been accused of sexually abusing the woman soldier of the Israeli Defense Force. The Israeli embassy has called it a ‘fake news’.
‘Those who resort to fake news will not be successful’
The Israeli embassy in India has emphasized strong relations between the two countries and said that those who resort to fake news will not succeed in harming. The alleged letter which is being discussed on social media was signed by Naor Gilon, who has previously worked as Israeli ambassador to India. The embassy made it clear that no such official letter has been sent to India.
“It will not work”
In a post on social media X, the Israeli Embassy said, “Unreliable relations are so strong that the hateful people resort to fake news to try to harm it. It will not work.”
Netanyahu spoke to PM Modi
Let me tell you, on April 24, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the phone and condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal had shared information about the conversation between the two leaders on X, saying that PM Modi shared the “barbaric nature” of the terrorist attack across the border and expressed India’s determination to bring criminals and their supporters into the dock of justice.
Terrorists attacked
On April 22, 26 people were attacked by terrorists in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. After the attack, India has taken strong retaliation against Pakistan. At the moment, tension between India and Pakistan is constantly increasing. (ANI)
