Harare: 5 children died and 2 other missing children died after a dam collapsed in East Zimbabwe. The disaster management agency of the country has given information about this incident. Such situations have been created due to continuous rains in recent weeks. This accident occurred in the remote district chipping located in the eastern part of the country. The number of casualties in the accident may increase.
Rescue operation continues
Officials initially reported that a four -year -old girl and a 30 -year -old man was washing clothes with their mother. The girl’s mother survived. However, after the disappearance of some children in the area, a discovery and rescue operation was launched, resulting in the bodies of four more children this week.
People stay away from water flow areas
The disaster management agency of the southern African country, the Civil Protection Unit said that the search for two more children aged 8 and 4 is still missing. At present, people have been advised to stay away from water flow areas. (AP)
