Dubai: In UAE, 2 people of Indian origin have been sentenced to death in a murder case. The Ministry of External Affairs has identified them as Muhammad Rinash A and Muralidhar PV, residents of Kerala. Rehinash was punished for killing a person resident of UAE. He used to work in a travel agency in Al Ein Priest, from where he was arrested. At the same time, Muralitharan was punished for killing one of his Indian migrants.

According to the Times of India report, the UAE had informed the Indian Embassy about this on 28 February. The Indian Embassy was followed by this family. The Ministry of External Affairs said that both families were provided all kinds of consular and legal aid in this regard.

India tried to save both

The Government of India tried to save these two convicts who were sentenced to death before being hanged, but could not get success. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the Indian Embassy had also filed mercy and apology petition in this regard, but the Supreme Court of the UAE retained their sentence. Both were sentenced to death after mercy and pardon petition was dismissed. Now the embassy is trying to attend his funeral. Earlier, a woman from UP was sentenced to death in the case of feticide on 15 February in Abu Dhabi.
