Abuja (Nigeria): Many people have died in a massive explosion in a gasoline tanker in Nigeria. After several hours of hard work, the workers brought the fire under control. It is being told that a massive fire broke out in the tanker after a sudden explosion. The flames started rising several meters high and black smoke started appearing in the sky. The explosion occurred in a gasoline tanker in north-central part of Nigeria. At least 70 people have died due to the explosion.
The country’s emergency response agency gave this information. The explosion occurred early Saturday near the Suleja region of Niger state when people were trying to transfer gasoline from a tanker to another truck using a generator, according to the agency. Husseini Isa of the National Emergency Management Agency said the explosion was caused by a fuel transfer, resulting in the deaths of those transferring the gasoline and bystanders.
