Tulsi Gabbard Made Director of National Intelligence: President-elect of the United States Donald Trump Made an important announcement after meeting President Joe Biden at the White House here on Wednesday.
He nominated Florida Senator Marco Rubio as Secretary of State and former Congressman and Lieutenant Colonel Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence.
According to The New York Times, Trump made this announcement during his return to Florida from Washington after meeting President Joe Biden. Rubio has once been a vocal critic of Trump.
Today he is his biggest supporter. Apart from this, Trump nominated Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz as the Attorney General of America.
He announced the appointment of Lieutenant Colonel Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence. Notably, Rubio is a conservative leader. His stance has been tough against China, Cuba and Iran. This year he was among the possible candidates for Trump’s Vice Presidential post.
Trump praised Florida Senator Marco Rubio in a statement. Rubio is also the vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee and a member of the Foreign Relations Committee.
Taking a tough stance on China, he raised his voice against social media apps like TikTok. Nominating him as Secretary of State, Trump said of Rubio, “He will be a strong advocate for our country.” Our colleagues will have true friends. “We will never back down against our adversaries.”
It’s interesting to note that Rubio’s selection is part of a long and complex saga between the two men. During the 2016 Republican presidential race, Rubio criticized Trump, calling him a con artist and the rudest person ever to run for president.
On this, Trump also made fun of him by calling him ‘Chhota Marco’. After this, as Trump’s influence increased with time, Rubio also changed his stance and started supporting Trump.
According to Trump’s announcement, Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democrat and the first Hindu member of the US Congress, will now serve as the Director of National Intelligence.
She was a Congress member four times. Is a 2020 presidential candidate and best-selling author. Gabbard deployed three times to war zones in the Middle East and Africa. He is an experienced soldier. Recently Gabbard left the Democratic Party and joined the Republican Party. He began his political career in the Hawaii State House of Representatives at the age of 21. After the 9/11 attacks, she joined the US Army and was deployed in Iraq. Gabbard left the Democratic Party in 2020 and is now considered a Trump supporter.

According to The New York Times, the news of Tulsi Gabbard’s appointment was first shared by Roger Stone on his X account. Stone is a longtime friend and adviser of Trump.
Tulsi will be the White House’s top intelligence adviser, along with John Ratcliffe, Trump’s choice to lead the CIA. She will oversee 18 spy agencies and will be responsible for preparing the President’s Daily Brief (intelligence summary).
Announcing his latest cabinet, Trump described Matt Gaetz as a very talented and strong lawyer. He studied law from William & Mary College of Law. He has distinguished himself in Congress by focusing on needed reforms at the Justice Department.
Trump said that the most important task for America is to eliminate bias in the justice system. Matt Gaetz will dismantle the government’s excessive powers, secure our borders, fight criminals, and restore the public’s lost trust in the Justice Department.
