US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 that he does not want the change of governance in Iran, as it could spread “chaos”. The statement came a few hours after the ceasefire announced after the 12 -day war between Israeli and Iran, which Trump was arbitrarily implemented. Trump told reporters at the White House, “I don’t want the change in Iran to change. It will bring anarchy.” He also claimed that Iran’s nuclear program would never “be rebuilt.”
However, soon after the ceasefire was implemented, the two sides accused each other of violation. Israel claimed that Iran fired missiles in Birsheba, killing four people, while Iran dismissed the allegations and spoke of Israeli attacks. Trump expressed displeasure over the two countries, saying, “They have been fighting for so long that they do not understand what they are doing.”
Trump also said that Russian President Vladimir Putin called him and offered help with Iran. He appealed to Israel to stop attacks and recall his pilots, after which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu postponed major attacks on Tehran.
400 Iranians and 24 Israeli were killed in this war. Oil prices fell 7% to $ 68.76 per barrel. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Arakachi said that there will be no agreement till the Israeli attacks are closed.[],
