Earthquake in Nepal
A 4.3 magnitude earthquake occurred in Jajarkot district of western Nepal on Monday afternoon. According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the earthquake center in Ramidanda area of the district was recorded at 2:25 pm. No reports of any damage from the earthquake have been found immediately. Let us know that on May 23, there was a 5.1 magnitude earthquake in Baitadi district.
A 4.3 magnitude earthquake was felt in Nepal during Thursday and Friday night. Due to the earthquake, people woke up from half the sleep at midnight and started running away from homes and panic spread. Earthquake information was given by the National Earthquake Science Center (NCS). Giving information about the earthquake of Nepal, NCS wrote in its X post, “A 4.3 magnitude earthquake occurred in Nepal in the early hours of Friday.” According to NCS, the earthquake occurred in Nepal at a depth of 10 km at 01:33 pm. There was no immediate information about the casualties or major damage from the earthquake.
Earthquake occurred in Afghanistan
A strong earthquake occurred in Afghanistan on the morning of Sunday (May 25, 2025), its intensity was measured at 4.2 on the Richter scale. The earthquake came 135 km below the ground. The National Earthquake Science Center gave this information. The Science Center said that this morning (Indian time), there was a strong tremors of earthquake in Afghanistan at 6.33 pm. However, no earthquake was reported to be injured or damaged.
