After the arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov in France, people are reacting differently to it. Billionaire Elon Musk, while reacting to this arrest, has said that if the governments consider Durov’s arrest to be correct, then they should also arrest Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg because a large scale child abuse problem has come to light on Instagram. In fact, Pavel Durov, the owner of the popular social media platform Telegram, has been arrested in France due to the allegations on his platform and if he is found guilty of these charges, he can be sentenced to 20 years.
Targeting Zuckerberg, Musk said that the CEO of Meta has already bowed down to the pressure of the governments and hence no one will arrest him. Even though large scale child abuse has been detected on Instagram and Facebook, Zuckerberg already works according to the governments and keeps providing them data as per their requirement, due to which Durov has been put in jail for the same work and Zuckerberg is roaming free.
Musk raised questions on Europe, said- by 2030, sharing memes will result in death penalty
Musk has been openly writing against European governments on social media in the past few days. On the incident of arrest, Musk wrote sarcastically that if things continue in this manner, then by 2030 people will be hanged for sharing memes in Europe.
In February, Mark Zuckerberg apologized to the victim families in front of the Senate at Capitol Hill in connection with the child abuse scandal that Musk has mentioned against Zuckerberg. Zuckerberg apologized and said that I am sorry for all the things you have gone through, all this should not have happened. It is for all these reasons that we invest so heavily in the tech field.
