Blast in Balochistan, Pakistan.
Archi: One person was killed and eight people were injured when a bus was hit by a bus on a roadside bomb in Balochistan province of Pakistan. Khujdar District Commissioner Yasir Iqbal Dasti told the media that the bus coming from Rawalpindi was hit by an explosion on the highway about 25 km from the city. Dashti said that at least one person was killed and eight were injured in the explosion.
He said that all the injured were immediately taken to the Khujdar Trauma Center. “The preliminary investigation shows that an improvised explosive device (IED) was installed in an alto car parked on the road and when the passenger bus came close, the explosive was blasted in the explosive.” No group has taken responsibility for the explosion yet. However, the banned separatist Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has taken responsibility for carrying out most terrorist attacks in recent months. The BLA also recently took responsibility for the terrorist attack on a passenger bus in Turta, killing four people and 32 injured. (AP)
