France’s marsile city
Paris: A tool used to fire in the early hours of Monday outside the Russian consulate in the city of Marsile, France exploded. No casualties were reported in this blast on the third anniversary of the Russian attack on Ukraine. During this time a second device was also thrown, but it did not erupt. After this incident, a bomb disposal expert was called to the spot.
The absconding suspect
An officer, on the condition of anonymity, said that the suspect escaped after the incident and investigation has been started. The authorities have not yet given any details about the suspect or motive. Marsile is the second largest city in France and a major Mediterranean port. People from different communities live in this city, but there are no more people from the Russian community here.
Demonstration against Russia in France
France has seen several protests against Russia’s attack on Ukraine since 2022, including demonstrations in Marsela, Paris and other cities. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova said that in the incident in Marsile, ‘all symptoms of terrorist attack are’.
