At least 50 people, including women and children, were killed in a fierce fire on Wednesday in a mall in a mall located in the eastern Wasit province of Iraq. The accident began with a supermarket and restaurant when a large number of people were shopping and eating inside the mall. This fire spread so fast that people could not be able to handle and on seeing this, the five -storey building was engulfed in flames.

Vasit province Governor Mohammad al-Maihi told Iraq’s official news agency INA that the fire was quite terrible and about 50 people have died so far after it was hit. He said that the fire started from a hyper market and restaurant, where people were busy eating and shopping. The governor has filed a case against the owner of the mall and the building on charges of serious negligence.
