Los Angeles: The death toll due to the massive forest fire in and around Los Angeles city of America has increased to 10. At least 10 thousand houses, buildings and other structures have been burnt to ashes due to the fire. Giving information, officials said that after the fire broke out at a new place named Kenneth and spread rapidly, people have been requested to move to safe places.
What did the mayor of Los Angeles say?
The Kenseth fire started on Thursday and has now spread rapidly to neighboring Ventura County. Kenneth is located just 3.2 kilometers from a school being used as a fire shelter. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said, “We fear that the strong winds will cause this fire to spread more quickly.” Reiterating the forecast, he said that strong winds will blow from Thursday evening to Friday morning.
