America’s forests caught fire
Washington: Last month in the US, there was a fierce fire in Los Angeles and now the fire has once again caused havoc. Flames are rising above trees in the forests. In the states of northern and south Carolina, wildfire has caused severe havoc on Sunday amid dry weather and strong winds. People from many areas have been evacuated to safe places.
Warning issued
The US National Meteorological Service has issued a warning on the dangers of fire in the region, as the fire is spreading rapidly due to dried trees and low moisture. Henry McMaster, Governor of South Carolina, has announced an emergency to deal with the forest fire. Open fire has been banned in the entire state. According to the estimate of South Carolina Forestry Commission, the fire is spread over about 4.9 sq km and it has not yet been controlled.
Fire extinguishing work continues
Officials say that the fire is currently in the forests and has not yet damaged any structure. No one is injured in this. Fire brigade officials said 410 personnel have been deployed to control the fire. In North Carolina, the US One Service said the fire extinguishers are working. The biggest fire is in the Uvhari National Forest.
