In Surrey city of Canada, a second -firing incident took place on the cafe ‘Caps Cafe’ by Indian comedian Kapil Sharma. Around 4:35 am on August 7, the local people heard the sound of firing, causing panic throughout the area. The police have found more than six bullets at the scene. Earlier on July 10, the same cafe was targeted.
At that time, terrorist Harjit Singh Laddi, a terrorist associated with Babbar Khalsa, took responsibility for this attack. After the second attack, gangster Goldie Dhillon has claimed through a social media post that the attack has been carried out by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He said that Kapil Sharma was already warned but did not get any reply, so the attack had to be carried out.
The post also threatened that the next target would be in Mumbai. Although no one was injured in the shootout, the local people and the cafe employees were badly scared. The police is now looking for connections between the two attacks and the investigation has been intensified. After the incident, Kapil Sharma and his wife Ginni released a video condemning the violence and said that they are not frightened, but united. The cafe was recently opened and was becoming very popular in the Indian community in Canada.
Kapil Sharma clearly said that he would not bow down to violence and continue his work. The cafe was closed for some time after the attack but now it has been reopened. This incident has not only shocked the Indian community, but is also questioning celebrity security internationally. The Canadian police is taking the matter seriously and it is expected that the culprits will be arrested soon.
