The Israeli army said on Tuesday that five of its soldiers were killed and two seriously injured due to explosive burst during patrolling in North Gaza.
Meanwhile, health officials in Gaza said that 18 people have been killed in air strikes at two different places in Israel.
According to Israeli media, military was on patrol, when explosive equipment exploded. The media said that the terrorists also fired bullets on the additional forces sent to save the dead and the injured.
This violence has occurred at a time when Israel and Hamas Gaza are considering the US -backed ceasefire proposal to prevent the ongoing struggle for the last 21 months.
Two weeks before this, Israel said that a Palestinian attacker had bombed his armored vehicle, in which seven of his soldiers were killed due to the explosion.
At the same time, people in the grip of Israeli attacks have been admitted to Nasir Hospital. Hospital health officials said an attack was targeted by the camps of displaced people at Khan Younis in Southern Gaza, killing four people. A mother, father and his two children were killed in another attack in Khan Younis.
Avada Hospital in Nuserat said in a statement that Israel attacked a group of people in Madhya Gaza, killing 10 people and injuring 72 others.
