Five people died in two separate terrorist attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan

At least five people, including two security personnel and three members of the local peace committee, were killed in two separate incidents of terrorism in North Western Pakistan.

The police on Sunday confirmed that both terrorist incidents took place in the disturbed Lucky Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to the police, in the first incident, two soldiers were killed and three others were injured in a roadside bomb blast targeting a patrol vehicle on Sunday morning.

Local police said three people were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in another incident in Shahb sports area.

The police have identified the deceased as Dastagir, Salim Khan and Salahuddin, heads of the local peace committee.

Security forces have laid siege to the area after the incident and investigation is on. No group has taken responsibility for the attacks yet.
