India’s Consul General in New York and the ‘Federation of Indian Association’ (FIA) honored four reputed women of Indian origin for their contribution to various fields on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
Among the women honored, ‘J.P. Morgon ‘Morgan’ and Anu Iyenger, the head of consultant and global head of merger and acquisitions, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder Anjula Acharia of ‘A-Series Management and Investments’, CEO and founder and founder of ‘LDP Ventures’ and ‘Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization’ and ‘Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization’ Modi is involved.
She was honored by the Indian Embassy by the Indian Embassy at the seventh annual International Women’s Day celebrations last week in New York.
A press release issued by the FAI said that Union Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi attended the event as the chief guest and “these women were honored for his remarkable contribution in different fields.”
Devi in her speech emphasized the important role of women in strengthening bilateral relations between India and America.
He said, “He has been a leader in developing and strengthening relations between women and Pravasi America and India,” he said, he also highlighted an initiative initiated at Washington DC last week, aims to promote the development of women in both countries in the fields of socio-economic, financial and technology.
