Paris: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the AI Action Summit in Paris, the capital of France. On this occasion, the Prime Minister said, ‘We should develop an open source system that enhances trust and transparency. We should build data centers free from prejudices, we should democratization of technology and create people’s centers applications. We should solve concerns related to cyber security, propaganda and deepfec. We should also ensure that technology lies in the local ecosystem to be effective and useful.
‘We need to invest in skills’
Addressing the conference, the PM said, ‘The loss of jobs is the most dangerous disruption of AI, but history has shown that the work does not disappear due to technology, only its nature changes. We need to invest in skills and make our people again efficient for the AI-managed future. India is ready to share its experience and expertise to ensure that the future of AI is good for everyone. India has successfully prepared digital public infrastructure at a very low cost for its more than 1.4 billion people.
Macron gave a grand welcome to PM Modi
On this occasion, the Prime Minister also said that India is also a pioneer in creating a technology-leading basis of data privacy along with adopting AI. Let me tell you that before this, French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a welcome dinner held at Elisy Palace, Paris. Modi wrote on ‘X’ on Monday, ‘In Paris, he was happy to meet his friend President Macron.’ At the dinner, PM Modi also met US Vice President JD Vance. Vance is also in France to participate in the AI Summit. This was the first conversation with the top leadership of the Trump administration before Modi’s visit to America.
