New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit America from Saturday i.e. 21 September. Before the start of the Prime Minister’s visit, the Indian Foreign Ministry has given its complete blueprint. The Foreign Ministry said that this 3-day US visit of PM Modi will be based on ways to increase cooperation between member countries to ensure stability in the Indo-Pacific region. In this, the issue of finding a peaceful solution to the conflicts in Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Gaza and addressing the concerns of the ‘Global South’ will be prominent.
Let us tell you that PM Modi will attend the annual Quad summit in Wilmington, Delaware. Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi will address the ‘Summit of the Future’ at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. He will hold a roundtable conference with the CEOs of top US companies working in the technology sector and will hold bilateral talks with US President Joe Biden and many other global leaders. Prime Minister Modi will first reach Wilmington where he will join the US President, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida in the Quad summit on September 21. Wilmington is Biden’s hometown.
PM Modi will hold bilateral talks
Modi will also hold separate bilateral talks with the leaders of the three Quad countries. The Quad summit is expected to discuss ways to enhance cooperation among member countries to ensure peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region, besides deliberating on the conflicts in Gaza and Ukraine. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said, “We hope that many new initiatives will be announced.” The Quad leaders will launch a new ambitious plan to prevent, detect, treat and reduce the impact of cancer on patients and their families. Misri said that the Quad summit will have a special focus on peace, progress and stability in the Indo-Pacific region. He said that all the leaders will discuss health security, climate change, emerging technologies, infrastructure, connectivity, counter-terrorism and humanitarian assistance.

During this time, PM Modi is also likely to meet Donald Trump, but the Ministry of External Affairs has not yet made any visit to him.
