US President Donald Trump has falsely expressed the opinion expressed by National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard that Iran is not making nuclear weapons in the idea of America.
On Friday, Trump was asked about Gabbard’s statement to the Congress in March on reaching New Jersey to raise funds for his ‘Super Political Action Committee’. In fact, Gabbard then said that American spy agencies believe that Iran is not working on nuclear weapons.
To this the President said, “Then, my intelligence community is wrong. Who said this in the intelligence community?” When Trump was told that Gabbard said this, he said, “His opinion is wrong.”
Meanwhile, Gabbard said in a post on ‘X’ that his point is being presented incorrectly.
“The US has intelligence that Iran is in a position that it can make nuclear weapons within a few weeks or months,” he said.
Gabbard said in his post, “President Trump has made it clear that this cannot be allowed and I agree with it.”
Amidst the deadly attacks between Israel and Iran, the White House recently said that Trump would decide within two weeks whether the US Army would directly involve the conflict between Israel and Iran.
The White House stated that the additional time demand is “based on the fact whether there is enough possibility of interaction with Iran in the near future.”
But on Friday, Trump himself doubted that the conversation could stop the fight between Israel and Iran.
Trump said that even though he supports the ceasefire, it can be very difficult to stop Israel’s attacks on Iran. “
Asked about Iran’s suggestion that if the US is serious about advancing the talks, it would ask Israel to stop attacks. To this, Trump said, “I think it is very difficult to request right now.”
