Hamas Announced Long Struggle Against Israel: Hamas (Hamas) announced that it is ready for a long conflict against Israel in the Gaza Strip.
“We decide to continue a long and painful war against Israel,” Abu Ubaida, a spokesman for the al-Qassam Brigades, the Palestinian group’s military wing, said in a video message.
Ubaida said this on Monday on the completion of one year of ‘7 October attack’. Regarding the hostages, Ubaida said, “From day one we have ensured the safety of our captives, but Netanyahu’s ambitions prevented their return for a year.”
The spokesman warned that the fate of the hostages now depends on the decisions of the Israeli government. If the Israeli army advances, their situation may worsen.
After the October 7 attack last year, Israel declared war against Hamas and started military operations in the Gaza Strip under its control.
