Late Al-Balah (Gaza Patti): Mohammad Sinwar, who conducted Hamas’s activities in Gaza, has been killed by the Israeli army. This has been confirmed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Wednesday that Hamas’s Gaza chief Mohammad Sinwar was killed by the Israeli army.
Israeli army attacked on 14 May
There were reports of Hamas chief seriously injured in a major air strike by Israel on 14 May. At that time the Israel Defense Force was not in a position to confirm whether Mohammad Sinwar was killed in the attack. But now he has been confirmed to be killed and it has also been announced by the Israeli PM himself.
Mohammad Sinwar was the brother of Yahya Sinwar
Muhammad Sinwar was the brother of former Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar, who was killed by the Israeli Defense Force in October 2024. Muhammad Sinwar, one of the last remaining commanders of Hamas in Gaza, was hiding in a bunker which the terrorist group Hamas was using as a command center. The Israeli Defense Force attacked and destroyed Mohammad Sinwar’s hideout on 14 May by a drone. Sinwar, who was badly injured in this attack, was taken to Khan Younis’s European Hospital.
