Tragic accident in Pakistan.
Painful news of the accident is coming out in Gilgit-Baltistan area of Pakistan occupied Kashmir. A bus full of passengers has fallen into the Indus river in the area. According to the information, all these passengers were going in a procession to attend a wedding ceremony. According to the information received so far, bodies of at least 16 people have been recovered from the accident site.
How did this accident happen?
According to the information given by ‘Dawn’ newspaper, the bus with which the accident took place was going from Astor towards Chakwal district of Punjab. However, on the way the bus fell into the Indus river from Telchi bridge. At least 16 people died and a woman was injured when the bus fell into the Indus River.
Search for other people continues
Regarding this incident, the police has informed that at the time of the accident, all the people sitting in the bus were going to attend a wedding ceremony. The local police is on the spot after this accident which took place in the hilly Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan occupied Kashmir. The search for other people sitting in the bus is still going on. There is a fear that the death toll may increase further.
26 people died in Balochistan
Earlier last week, there was a suicide blast at the railway station in Quetta, the capital of Pakistan’s Balochistan province. 26 people were killed in this and about 62 people were also injured. According to the information, after this incident, the Government of Pakistan has suspended all the railway services coming to and from Balochistan for four days from Monday due to security reasons. The separatist Baloch Liberation Army has taken responsibility for this attack. The Government of Pakistan has said that it will respond to this attack. (input language)
