Accused teacher sent on leave
The Tradifrin Easttown School District has confirmed that Mercogliano was sent on “immediate” leave after finding out the allegations this week to the school community. She had been teaching in Konestoga since autumn and had previously studied at Hilcide Elementary School from 2019 to 2024. The district said that she had been working as a parapropist in the district since 2014.
