Kabul: A total of 50 people died while 76 were injured in two road accidents in Afghanistan. A government spokesperson gave information about these accidents on Thursday. Hafiz Omar, spokesman for the governor of Ghazni province, said a passenger bus and an oil tanker collided late Wednesday night on the Kabul-Kandahar highway, while a second accident occurred in another area on the same highway.

The injured were admitted to the hospital

“The injured have been admitted to hospitals in Ghazni and the process of handing over the bodies of the dead to the families is ongoing,” a spokesman for the governor of Ghazni province said. Omar said that the seriously injured people have been shifted to Kabul and the dead also include women and children.
