If Hamas does not release all the hostages till Saturday, then the ceasefire agreement should be canceled: Trump

US President Donald Trump said that if Hamas does not release all the hostages till Saturday afternoon, the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas should be canceled.

Trump told reporters that it eventually depends on Israel. But he warned that if the remaining hostages are not released then “destruction will come”.

The US President said that he feared that many people have died. However, Trump also said, “I am speaking on my side.” Israel may disagree with this. ‘

At the same time, earlier Hamas spokesperson said on Monday that he would delay the release of the next hostage after accusing Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement. Israel and Hamas are in the middle of a six -week ceasefire. During this time Hamas is releasing dozens of hostages caught in his attack on October 7, 2023 in exchange for about 2,000 Palestinian prisoners.

Since the ceasefire was implemented last month, the two sides have swapped five times, with more than 21 hostages and more than 730 prisoners. The next exchange was scheduled on Saturday, in which three Israeli hostages were released in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.

Hamas’s military wing, Al-Qassam Brigade spokesman Abu Obeda on Monday accused Israel of systematically violating the ceasefire agreement in the last three weeks. Also said that Saturday’s release will be delayed.
