In Myanmar, the earth -shock of the earthquake, the earth, left home and run away, know intensity

The earthquake was felt in Myanmar at 9.24 pm on Saturday night. As soon as the earthquake was detected, people left the houses and started running to a safe place. The intensity of the earthquake is measured 5.4 on the Richter scale. At present, there is no news of any loss of life and property from the earthquake. According to the European-Bhumadhyagya Earthquake Science Center (EMSC), on Saturday, there was a 5.4 magnitude earthquake near Kyouse in Myanmar.



Security advice issued

A month ago, there was widespread loss of life and property due to powerful shaking in the country. In view of this, DSS has issued security advice. According to the NCS, the earthquake came at a shallow depth of 10 km, making it susceptible to afterchocks. In a post on X, NCS said, “ME of M: 3.3, dated: 15/05/2025 13:31:01 IST, Latitude: 26.67N, longitude: 96.17 E, depth: 10 km, location: Myanmar.”

7.7 magnitude earthquake came on 28 March

On the same day, there was another earthquake of 3.4 magnitude in this area. Earlier on Thursday, another earthquake occurred in Myanmar, the details of which were shared on X by NCS. After an earthquake of 7.7 and 6.4 magnitude in Central Myanmar on 28 March, the World Health Organization (WHO) warned of a range of rapidly growing health hazards for thousands of people displaced in earthquake affected areas, stating that people may be threatened with tuberculosis (TB), HIV, vector-and water-related diseases.
