Earthquake again in Myanmar
In Myanmar, on the morning of Sunday, April 13, 2025, a strong tremor was felt once again, causing people to leave home in panic. The intensity of the earthquake on Sunday morning has been measured on the Richter scale 5.5 magnitude. According to the National Center for Sisamology, the earthquake was felt in Myanmar at 07:54:58 am on 13 April 2025. The epicenter of the earthquake was 10 km deep under the ground. Earthquake occurred in Pakistan on Saturday
On Saturday, a 5.8 magnitude earthquake occurred on the Richter scale, which was center in Pakistan, while its shocks were also felt in Jammu and Kashmir. Meteorological Director Mukhtar Ahmed said that on Saturday, 33.63 degrees northern latitude at 13:00:55 IST and a 5.8 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale at 72.46 degree longitude. He said, “The epicenter of the earthquake was in the Pakistan region. The earthquake came inside 10 kilometers from the surface of the earth. Light tremors were also felt in Jammu and Kashmir.”
This caused a 7.6 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale on October 8, 2005 at 8.50 am, which was in Muzaffarabad in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (PoK). More than 80,000 people were killed in the earthquake on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC).
