Beijing: Diplomatic relations between India and China will complete 75 years next year. Before this, both the countries have started a new initiative to improve their relations. From bringing peace on the India-China border to deepening economic, cultural and trade progress, both the countries have expressed strong commitment. In this series, India’s Special Representative and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met China’s Vice President Han Zheng in Beijing. Both the leaders discussed the issue of strengthening India-China relations.
During this, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng said that next year is the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and India. In such a situation, the important consensus achieved by the leaders of both the countries should be implemented by both the parties. At the same time, the pace of high-level exchanges should be maintained. He said the two countries should develop political mutual trust and gradually restore institutional dialogue. Along with this, exchanges and cooperation should be increased in areas like economy, trade and culture. So that bilateral relations can be promoted to return to a stable development path.
Talks also held with Chinese Foreign Minister
Earlier, NSA Ajit Doval also met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing on Wednesday. This meeting was important for bringing the relations between the two countries back on track and for talks on other points including border issues. During this, various issues are reported to be discussed between the two leaders, including maintaining peace on the Line of Actual Control and restoring bilateral relations which have been strained for more than four years due to the military standoff in Eastern Ladakh.
