Sri Lanka Karainagar Boatyard
Colombo: India will provide financial assistance of 29 crore Sri Lankan rupees to develop Karainagar ‘Boatyard’ (the place where boats are parked) in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka. The Indian High Commission gave this information on Thursday. The project envisages rehabilitation of Karainagar ‘Boatyard’ of Sea-Nor Foundation Limited, incorporated under the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development and operated under the Ministry of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources.
