This statement of Pakistan Information Minister Ataullah Tarar came after a meeting by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with top defense officials. In this meeting, PM Modi expressed confidence in the professional capacity of the armed forces and said that he has been given complete exemption to fix the methods, goals and time of action.
In fact, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with the top defense officials of the country on Tuesday, which included Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and heads of the three armies. Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan was also part of this meeting. The meeting lasted for about one and a half hours. According to government sources, in the meeting, the Prime Minister said that it is our national resolve to hurt terrorism. PM Modi expressed full confidence and confidence in the professional capabilities of the armed forces. According to sources, the Prime Minister said, he (armed forces) has complete freedom to decide the ways, goals and time of our response.
According to the information, Pakistan Information Minister Ataullah Tarar said that the Government of India is preparing to take military action against Pakistan on the basis of unfounded allegations about Pakistan’s involvement in the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. He said that Pakistan itself has been a victim of terrorism and has always condemned all its forms and expressions. He said that Islamabad has offered a “reliable, transparent and independent” investigation by a neutral commission of experts to detect the reality of the Pahalgam attack.
