Indian migrants led by India’s Ambassador Vinay Kumar to Russia paid tribute to 26 victims of Pahalgam attack by keeping a minute’s silence and expressed condolences to the bereaved families.
Honored by Padma Shri and Tatiana Shomayan, head of India Center of ‘Institute of Oriental Studies and Research’, also packed DP of Indian Embassy. Dhar Hall was present with the Indian community.
Militants killed 26 people in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir last week. Most of the people killed were tourists.
Ambassador Kumar expressed grief over this cowardly terrorist attack. He said that it is natural to have different views in a democratic country with a pluralistic society like India.
He condemned terrorist violence, saying, “We have many forums to express disagreement in a peaceful manner.”
Sudha Didi, head of the Moscow unit of ‘Brahma Kumarij’ institution, was also present in this program, who gave the message of peace on the occasion.
