Houston: A judge of Indian origin in the US has been arrested on charges of money laundering. It is being told that Indian -origin Judge KP Jorge has been arrested in Fort Bend County in the money laundering case related to the fraud of ‘wire fraud’ and ‘Election Financial Report’. George, who is associated with the Democratic Party, has been working as a judge of County since 2018.
He was arrested by the US Police. After this, at around 3:30 pm on Friday afternoon, a county jail was sent and released after paying a bail amount of US $ 20,000. According to the court record and Fort Bend County District Attorney Office, George is accused of funding from 30,000 to 1,50,000 US $.
Demand for resignation from judge
After being accused of money laundering, there is also a demand for resignation from the judge. However, the judge has completely rejected the allegations against him.
