Modi’s three-day visit to America: Indian Prime Minister (PM) Modi held a “very fruitful” meeting with US President Joe Biden and during this, the two leaders discussed ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Also discussed global and regional issues, including the Indo-Pacific region.
Modi is on a three-day visit to the US. President Biden welcomed him at his residence in Greenville, Delaware on Saturday and the two leaders hugged each other.

After this, Biden took Modi by the hand and took him inside the residence where bilateral talks took place between the two leaders.
After the talks between Modi and Biden lasted for more than an hour, Biden said in a post on the social media platform ‘X’, “America’s partnership with India is stronger, closer and more dynamic than ever before. Whenever we meet I am impressed by our ability to find new areas of cooperation. The same happened today.”
A press release issued by the Ministry of External Affairs said that the two leaders had discussed the Quad (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue) summit here. (Summit) met on the sidelines of the and discussed ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest as well as exchanged views on global and regional issues, including the Indo-Pacific region.
“The discussions focused on strengthening India-US partnership in areas of mutual interests,” the Prime Minister’s Office said in a post on ‘X’.
The two leaders discussed the Indo-Pacific region as well as global issues. A joint statement was also issued after the meeting.
