There was a stir in Pakistan
After the Pahalgam terror attack, the tension between India and Pakistan is continuously increasing. Due to the sudden water flow in the Jhelum river, Pakistan -occupied Kashmir i.e. POK administration has imposed an emergency sanctions and issued an order to immediately stop the holidays and transfers of health workers. The order issued by the Health Directorate of Jhelum Valley on 25 April cited ’emergency’ and medical workers in all hospitals and health units have been issued instructions to be posted at their duty point. The order states that no employee will be allowed for leave or transfer. Along with this, private use of government vehicles has also been banned.
The order issued has written that…
“In view of the emergency in the country, the in-charge of all health centers is instructed to keep doctors, paramedical staff and ambulance drivers ready at all times to deal with any untoward incident. Along with this, all medical officers/ para medical staff of the health centers who are first on leave are directed to cancel their leave and seek written permission from the office before leaving their duty station. In case of negligence, disciplinary action will be taken against the concerned doctors/ paramedical medical staff. This order will be applicable with immediate effect. ”

The Pakistan Occupied Kashmir administration has suddenly taken this step which can be seen as a nervous nervousness in Pakistan after India’s action. Indian security agencies have also taken this emergency order seriously and according to intelligence reports, it is feared that unusual military or terrorist activities may increase near and around Pahalgam region, especially near the Line of Control. Rallies were held in Karachi against the Pakistani army expressing solidarity and India’s aggressive behavior.
