Mumbai Terror Attack Tahawwur Rana: Mumbai 26/11 Mastermind Tahwwur Rana is being brought to India. After Tehwavur Rana reached India, special arrangements have been made for him in two jails of Delhi and Mumbai. Arrangements have been made for Rana as per the recommendations of the US judiciary. Rana may be kept in custody of the National Investigation Agency for the first few weeks. Currently, the entire process is monitored by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Ministry of Home Affairs.

Rana has been an active member of Lashkar

Tahwwur Rana has been an active member of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. Rana had helped his partner David Coleman Headley aka Dawood Gilani in Reiki in India to plan the Mumbai attack. Rana got Headley passport so that he could come to India and choose the goals to the attack. The attack was hatched by Lashkar with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. In the Mumbai attacks on 26 November 2008, Rana expressed happiness over the death toll and said that the terrorists involved in it should get Pakistan’s biggest military honor. Only one terrorist Ajmal Kasab was caught alive in the Mumbai 26/11 attacks. Kasab was sentenced to death after hearing in court.

In February this year, US President Donald Trump confirmed Rana’s extradition, saying that he is happy to announce that Rana is going back to India to face justice. ” This extradition is the result of continuous efforts made by the Modi government since 2019. Tehwavur Rana came to India via Dubai

Let me tell you that Tahavvur Rana was born in Pakistan. He studied at Army Medical College and worked as a doctor in the Pakistan Army for 10 years. He later quit his job. Tehwavur Rana is currently a citizen of Canada. Rana was close to Major Iqbal of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI, who planned the Mumbai attacks. According to investigators, Rana himself came to Mumbai from 11 to 21 November 2008 before the attack. He came to India via Dubai and stayed at the Renensan Hotel in Powai. The attack took place five days after his departure. According to documents from the US Department of Justice, Rana and Headley were caught by the FBI in 2009, when they were planning an attack on a Denmark newspaper.
