Tension increased between India and Pakistan
New Delhi: Tension in India and Pakistan is increasing after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Iran has reacted a major reaction to the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan. Iran has urged both countries to reduce stress. Saudi Arabia also expressed concern over enmity between India and Pakistan. Its Foreign Minister has interacted with his Indian and Pakistani counterparts on phone.
What did Iran say
Iran’s Foreign Minister Syed Abbas Araghchi said in a post on social media, “India and Pakistan are Iran’s neighbors, between which there are centuries -old cultural and civilized relations. Like other neighbors, we consider him to be their top priority. ”Araghchi said that Tehran is ready to use his offices in Islamabad and New Delhi for better understanding between the two. In the midst of fears of military tension between India and Pakistan, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud spoke to External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Pakistan Foreign Minister Mohammed Ishak Dar.
