Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
After the death of Hezbollah Chief Syed Hassan Nasrallah in the Israeli attack, Iran has started worrying about the life of its Supreme Leader. Due to fear of Israeli attack, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been sent to a safe place inside the country. News agency Reuters has given this information quoting two officials of Tehran.
Tehran officials told Reuters that Khamenei had been taken to a secure location. He also said Iran was in contact with Hezbollah and other regional proxy groups to decide the next steps after Nasrallah’s assassination. The sources declined to be identified due to the sensitivity of the matter.
What did Khamenei say?
After the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah, Khamenei said in his statement, we stand firmly with Lebanon. Israel has targeted unarmed people and its cruelty has once again been exposed before the world. Women and children have been targeted in the Beirut attack. Israel’s killing of unarmed people proves its barbaric nature. The Israeli ‘terrorist gang’ did not understand that killing women and children would have no effect on the resistance.
Let us tell you that Iran lost another influential ally in the Israeli attack. The assassination of Hassan Nasrallah is a big blow to Iran. Nasrallah helped establish Hezbollah as a group of Tehran’s allies in the Arab region.
