The Rajai port mainly handles container traffic and also has oil tanks and other petrochemical features. The Rajai port is located on the Hormuz Strait, about 1,050 km from Iran’s capital Tehran. Hormuz Persia has a narrow route in the Gulf, with the way 20 percent of oil is traded.
