Tehran: After the murder of Hamas Chief Ismail Hania and Yahya Sinwar, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has met the top leaders of Hamas. The Government IRNA news agency said on Saturday that Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, met the top leaders of Hamas in Tehran.

According to the report, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei met Khalil al-Haya, vice-president of Hamas’s political bureau and Shura Council President Muhammad Ismail Darvish in Tehran. The report quoted Khamenei as saying that the people of Gaza actually “defeated the Zionist rule and America and did not allow him to reach any of his goals.”

Khamenei appreciated Hamas

Khamenei has praised Hamas leaders for struggling with Israel. IRNA said Khamenei also thanked Hamas officials who interacted with Israel on the ceasefire agreement. Let us know that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has come into force since January 19. Under this, both sides have agreed to release each other’s hostages and prisoners.
