Taipei: The latest statement of Taiwan’s Defense Ministry has increased the tension of the world. He has said that China’s secret military contingent seems to be planning to do something around Taiwan, but it is not clear whether it is an army drill or something else. Taiwan’s Defense Ministry said on Tuesday it had detected a dozen Chinese navy ships and 47 military aircraft in the past 24 hours, but there was no sign of gunfire as in previous military exercises. Defense officials told a press conference that this time the deployment has been made to a larger area, and additional ships are going beyond Taiwan to the rest of the Pacific region.
‘His message is very clear’
Lieutenant General Hsieh Jih-sheng said China’s Navy is building two walls, one on the perimeter of Taiwan and the other outside the first island chain, which extends south from Japan and through Taiwan to the Philippines. “Their message is very clear: The Taiwan Strait is ours,” he said, referring to the waters between Taiwan and China. China’s military is preparing for possible military exercises in response to Taiwan President Lai Ching-te’s recent trip abroad, which included visits to Hawaii and Guam. Let us tell you that China claims Taiwan as its part and opposes it having official relations with other countries, especially America.
China’s every move is under watch
Taiwan’s Prime Minister Lai spoke by phone with leaders of the US Parliament in Guam last week. Let us tell you that like most countries of the world, America also does not formally recognize Taiwan as a country, but it is the largest supplier of arms to this country with a population of 23 million. Till now China has not announced any military exercise and that is why Taiwan officials are calling the ongoing activity as training. Let us tell you that China has said many times that it will include Taiwan with itself even if it has to fight a war for this. In such a situation, the presence of China’s secret army near Taiwan is a sign of danger.
