Beirut: One of the densely populated southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital Beirut was targeted by Israeli airstrikes on Friday, after which sounds of explosions were heard in the capital. The attack came an hour after thousands of people attended the funeral of a top Hezbollah commander. The commander was killed the day before.
