Palestinian Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal in Gaza said that Israeli fighter jets targeted the house of Dr. Akram of Al-Quds Open University. Nine people, including three children and two women, were killed in this attack. Apart from this, their neighboring houses also came under the air strike, in which many people are reported to be injured.
According to the news agency Xinhua, many houses have been completely destroyed due to this attack. After the airstrike, the civil defense team is engaged in rescue operations to save the missing people.
Spokesman Mahmoud Basal said on Tuesday that the dead and injured were admitted to a hospital in northern Gaza. However, Israel has not yet commented on the attack.

It is known that Hamas carried out a major attack by entering the southern Israeli border on 7 October 2023. About 1,200 Israeli civilians were killed in this attack and more than 250 people were taken hostage.
