Israeli girl missed by Hamas’s clutches.
Khan Younis (Gaza), 1 February (AP) Hamas handed over two male hostages to the red cross on Saturday under a ceasefire agreement with Israel. The hostages handed over of the Red Cross include Yardan Bibas (35) and Offer Calladerone (54). Both were held hostage on October 7, 2023 during the Hamas attack on Israel. Another hostage American-Israeli Keith Seagal (65) is also to be released on Saturday. They will be handed over to Red Cross in North Gaza City. The ceasefire agreement came into force on 19 January in Gaza. On Saturday, the injured Palestinians are expected to be allowed to go to Egypt by Rafah Border Marg. It was the only exhaust point for Palestinians during the war. It was closed by Israel in May. The Citizen Mission of the European Union was deployed on Friday to prepare to reopen the border point. The opening of the Rafah border point would be another important step in the first phase of the ceasefire. The agreement includes the release of 33 hostages and about 2,000 prisoners, the return of the Palestinians in the North Gaza and the increase in human aid in the destroyed area.
