Gaza
Tel Aviv: Israel has banned all kinds of assistance supply during the ongoing ceasefire in Gaza. Israel said on Sunday that it is stopping the entry of supplies of all the objects in the Gaza Strip. The Prime Minister’s Office did not explain the decision in detail, but warned that if Hamas did not accept the American proposal for the expansion of the ceasefire, he would have to bear “additional consequences”.
However, it is not yet clear whether the aid supply has been completely stopped. The first phase of the end of the Israeli-Hamas ended on Saturday. This included an increase in humanitarian aid. The two sides are yet to negotiate a second phase, in which Israel’s return to its army and in exchange for permanent ceasefire, we will release dozens of remaining hostages.
The ceasefire may continue till 20 April
Israel said on Sunday morning that it is in favor of extending the ceasefire by ‘Passover’ or 20 April. It said that the proposal came from US President Donald Trump Administration’s West Asia’s envoy Steve Witchoff. (AP)
