Israel Strike in Beirut
Beirut: The Israeli army is continuously carrying out heavy bombardment on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. Eleven people have been killed and many injured in fresh missile attacks by Israel in the central area of Beirut. Lebanon’s Civil Volunteer Organization said the death toll from the attack could rise as emergency rescue workers were still searching for people in the debris.
Fourth attack in a week
Israel has attacked Lebanon’s capital Beirut for the fourth time in less than a week. The attack on Lebanon comes at a time when US envoy Amos Hochstein visited the region this week to broker a ceasefire agreement between Israel and the terrorist organization Hezbollah.

According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, more than 3,500 people have been killed so far in Israeli airstrikes while more than 15,000 have been injured. According to Lebanon’s state news agency, the attack on Beirut took place at 4 a.m. local time, destroying an eight-story building. (AP)
