Israel on Sunday launched a broad attack on Iran and targeted its energy industry and defense headquarters, while Iran also intensified the retaliation against Israel and bombarded missiles.
Two days ago, the two countries are engaged in attacking and counter -attacks after Israeli’s objective of stopping Tehran’s fast growing nuclear program.
The voices of explosions were also heard in Tehran amidst Iran’s missile attacks on Israel. Emergency officials of Israel said that people have died in many places across the country due to Iran’s attack.
Israeli emergency officials said four people died due to an attack on a building in Galiley area, while two women and 10 -year -old boy died in an attack in Central Israel.
No information could be found immediately about the number of casualties in Iran. Israel targeted Iran’s defense headquarters as well as the sites that they say that they are associated with the country’s nuclear program.
Iran’s paramilitary force revolutionary guard claimed that Iranian missiles targeted fuel centers for Israel’s fighter jets.
The nuclear dialogue between Iran and the US has been canceled amid the ongoing conflict between the two countries.
Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz said on social media, “Tehran is burning.”
Both Israeli Army and Iran’s official television gave information about the latest attack of Iranian missiles. The voices of the blasts were heard during the Israeli cabinet meeting on security close to midnight.
Leaders around the world have called for an immediate call to reduce stress and avoid widespread war.
China’s Foreign Minister said that the attack on nuclear sites has set a “dangerous example”.
Israel is widely considered the only nuclear -rich country in West Asia. It said that in the last two days, many top generals, nine senior scientists and experts associated with Iran’s nuclear program have been killed in hundreds of its attacks on Iran. Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations has said that 78 people were killed and more than 320 were injured.
The United Nations’s nuclear monitoring institution on Thursday reprimanded Iran for not following the obligations to prevent the development of nuclear weapons.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has described the destruction of Iran’s nuclear program as its top priority, said that Israel’s attacks so far are nothing compared to the attacks that his army will do in the coming days.
Iran’s semi-government news agency reported that an Israeli drone attacked the Iranian natural gas processing plant followed by “a loud explosion”, the first Israeli attack on Iran’s oil and natural gas base. Israel’s army has not commented on it.
At present, it is not known how much damage has been done in the ‘South Pars’ natural gas sector. There are air defense systems around such places, which Israel has been targeting.
