Israeli Strikes on Gaza
Deir al-Balah: Israel is continuously attacking Gaza and it says the army is targeting Hamas terrorists. Once again Israel has carried out massive air strikes on the Gaza Strip. At least 25 Palestinians were killed and many were injured in these attacks. Palestinian doctors have given information about this. The attack came at a time when US President Joe Biden’s National Security Advisor had just hours earlier expressed hope for a ceasefire agreement to end the war in Gaza.
Israeli army did not give any statement
Officials at al-Awda hospital in the north of the Gaza Strip and al-Aqsa hospital in central Gaza said a total of 25 bodies were brought to the hospitals after Israel struck a multi-storey residential building in the urban Nusraet refugee camp on Thursday. Palestinian doctors said that more than 40 people injured in the attack are being treated in these two hospitals and most of them are children. He said that many houses in Nusrat were also damaged in the Israeli attack. The Israeli Army has not yet given any information regarding this deadly attack.

‘The path to ceasefire has been cleared’
US President Joe Biden’s national security adviser Jake Sullivan told reporters in Jerusalem just hours earlier that the Israeli ceasefire in Lebanon had cleared the way for an agreement to end the war in Gaza. He plans to visit Qatar and Egypt, the key mediators involved in the ceasefire talks. (AP)
