Israeli bombing in Gaza killed 34 people while terrible floods in the African country Nigeria killed 30 people. Thus at least 64 people have died in these accidents in both the countries. Let us tell you that Israel carried out a heavy air strike on a United Nations school and two houses in central Gaza on Wednesday. At least 34 people including 19 women and children were killed in this air strike. Hospital officials gave this information. Displaced Palestinians had taken shelter in this school.

At least 30 people have died and millions have been affected by severe flooding in north-eastern Nigeria, officials said on Wednesday. The burst of a major dam in Borno state on Tuesday caused massive flooding, forcing residents to flee their homes and seek shelter in safer places. The same dam had also burst 30 years ago. The state government said the dam was filled to its capacity due to unusually heavy rains. Nigeria was also hit by a devastating flood two years ago in which more than 600 people died.
About 15 percent of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, was under water, a state police spokesman said Tuesday. National Emergency Management Agency spokesman Ezekiel Manjo said Wednesday that the death toll stood at 30. “So far, about 1 million people have been affected by the floods,” an aide to the Borno governor said.
