Israel caused havoc in Gaza with attacks.
Cairo: The Israeli army has caused havoc in the Gaza Strip since the Gaza ceasefire agreement was broken. More than 600 Palestinians have been killed in the last about 1 week. Given the dreaded stance of Israel, Hamas has finally agreed to the ceasefire. Hamas said on Saturday that it had accepted a new resolution of ceasefire in Gaza proposed by the mediators Egypt and Qatar, but Israel said that it has prepared another proposal with the third arbitration of America through “complete coordination”.
Egypt earlier this week made a proposal to bring back the ceasefire agreement back on track. In Gaza, Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya announced to accept it but it is not clear whether the proposal was changed before this announcement. Earlier this week, an Egyptian official told the ‘Associated Press’ (AP) that Hamas would release five living hostages including an American-Israeli, in return for which Israel will allow humanitarian aid to reach Gaza and will agree to stop the war for a week. Also, Israel will release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
Israel made a new proposal
The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not share the details of his proposal, but said it has been introduced after the discussion on Friday. About 10 days ago, Israel ended the ceasefire agreement with Hamas and carried out airstrikes in which hundreds of people were killed. The ‘White House’ (the official residence and office of the President of the US) held Hamas responsible for the conflict again. Israel has warned that he will not stop the war until Hamas releases 59 hostages. In addition, Israel is demanding to give up power from Hamas, put its weapons and exile. (AP)
